The unit has 30 beds. The nurse to patient ratio is 1 : 4. Candidates should have a strong background in the required specialties. Effective communication skills are essential for collaboration with the healthcare team. Strong critical thinking skills are necessary for patient care in a step-down setting. Candidates should be prepared to handle a variety of patient needs and conditions. Experience in an intermediate care setting is preferred.
