JOB SUMMARY

Provides planned, skilled nursing care for patients in the pre-procedure, and post-procedure periods. Provides continuous patient surveillance for early recognition and immediate emergency treatment of medical or surgical complications that may arise in the pre / post-procedure patient.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Current Connecticut RN License.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing school.
• BLS and ACLS certification required prior to the date of hire.
• 2 years Endoscopy, Peri-Op, or Critical Care experience preferred.
• Must be able to communicate effectively and work closely with all physicians and staff.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Bilingual a plus.
