Fabrication Operator

Our client is seeking a Fab Operator to join the team. As a Fab Operator, you will play a crucial role in the manufacturing of electronic components to given schedule using a range of equipment and processes with a cleanroom environment.

This position is shift-based with multiple positions across 1st or 2nd shift, Monday through Friday.

1st Shift hours : 6 : 00AM - 2 : 30PM

2nd Shift hours : 2 : 00PM - 10 : 30PM

Responsibilities :

• Processing of material to the required quality standards and standard operating procedures.
• Preparation of materials and tooling to applied standards.
• Undertake periodic quality checks on equipment and processes, as specified.
• Gathering and recording of data.
• Carry out visual inspection of product according to the device specific criteria.
• Identify non-compliant material or abnormal events, taking appropriate action as detailed in applied specifications.
• Contribute improvement activities and participate within working groups.
• Achieve production targets by undertaking tasks according to specified plan and priorities using local decision making to account for material and equipment availability.
• Interface with maintenance and engineering staff regularly throughout a shift.
• Comply with Environmental Health and Safety regulations within the working environment.
