Volunteer Position

Assist residents who are visiting the building and making sure they are connected to the appropriate staff members. Location and hours : Pick one location and one day per week - 525 Portland Ave. South Minneapolis - Volunteers needed on Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday from 9 a.m. - 1 p.m. - 1256 Penn Ave. North Minneapolis - Volunteers needed on Tuesday, Thursday, or Friday from 1 p.m. - 5 p.m. Position type : This is an advertisement for an unpaid, volunteer position. In this volunteer position, you will : - Welcome and greet residents entering the building - Connect residents with the correct staff person - Use county provided computer to help residents using Microsoft Teams and Excel - Use Microsoft Excel to track walk-in visits and track appointments - Use Microsoft Teams to check if residents have an appointment and schedule appointments Training and supervision is provided by Child and Family Services.
