JOB SUMMARY:
Provides professional event and training coordination services by planning and coordinating a wide range of events hosted by the Transportation Technology Transfer Service. Events range from 100 up to 1000 attendees. Performs other duties as assigned.
JOB DUTIES:
50% - Essential - Plans, coordinates and executes events such as conferences, vendor expos, hands-on training events and education seminars. Coordinates and handles logistics for events including financial reconciliation. Secures sponsors for events when appropriate. Manages timelines and phases of multiple events occurring simultaneously.
20% - Essential - Provides administrative and financial assistance by processing supply requests. Coordinate communications to announce and publicize events and creates and manages the time lines for all events.
20% - Essential - Creates and implements the participant evaluation process; reviews, documents, and implements improvements and best practices for each event based on evaluations and observation. Identifies continuous improvement opportunities.
10% - Essential - Works with the administrative assistant to verify on-line event registration, payments and reconciliation. Coordinate on-site event registration with program staff.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Education - 1st Bachelor's Degree
Licenses - Drivers License Class D normal < 26,000

COMPENSATION INFORMATION
Expected Pay Range: $44,700 - $54,000
Salary is dependent upon several factors including, but not limited to, a candidate's previous experience, knowledge, skills and performance in accordance with Clemson's .
ESSENTIAL PERSONNEL LEVEL
Normal Operations
Required to follow emergency facility closure directives, and not normally expected work on-site during emergency situations.
