The Finish Department Operator will work in a shop environment with outdoor environments as required where weather and conditions may range from heat, cold, dirt, dust, noise, etc.
QUALIFICATIONS :
- One (1) year manufacturing experience or equivalent work experience
- Bilingual a plus
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification required
- Basic mathematics
- Strong attention to detail
RESPONSIBILITIES :
Controlling and adjusting machine settings (e.g., speed)Feeding raw material or parts to semi-automated machinesUses forklift to move material in the shipping yard (When is required)Examine sketches, diagrams, samples, blueprints, or photographs to decide how designs are to be etched, mark, or engraved onto workpieces.Participates in continuous improvement and LEAN manufacturing principles.Participates in on-the-job training to enhance skills related to job function, quality, safety, LEAN manufacturing, and other topics, as necessary.Stack and organize large bulk items.Performs daily inspections on vehicles and informs manager of any needed repairs.Completes all necessary paperwork on completed task.Wears appropriate safety equipment for work being performed and as directed by company policy.Maintains a safe work environment and housekeeping rule.All other duties and assignments instructed.Setting up machines to start a production cycle.PHYSICIAL :
