Registered Dietitian (RD)

Duties and Responsibilities of the Registered Dietitian:

• Working with interdisciplinary team members to ensure optimal care is provided to all residents
• Assess, Develop and implement nutrition care plans to facilitate the provision of high quality and appropriate nutrition care to residents.
• Participate in interdisciplinary care team meetings
• Sigma Electronic assessments, care plans, MDS’s, progress notes, weight monitoring
• Geri Menu
• Provide nutrition counseling to residents and family, make diet & supplement recommendations
• Knowledge of diets and tube feeding
• Meal Observation

Requirements of the Registered Dietitian:

• Must have experience as a Registered Dietitian
• Must have experience in long term care
• Must have EMR (sigma care, PCC) experience
• Candidate must possess good verbal, writing, and organizational skills.
• Candidate must have strong computer knowledge
