Full-Time Clinical Nurse - Neonatal Intensive Care Unit

Position Overview :

We are seeking a dedicated full-time Clinical Nurse for the Neonatal ICU, working 36 hours per week (3 x 12 hour shifts) on days. This role involves a weekend and holiday rotation.

Key Responsibilities :

• Implement physician orders and administer medications.
• Start IVs and perform necessary treatments, procedures, and special tests.
• Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests to assess patients' conditions.
• Conduct thorough assessments and respond appropriately to patient care needs.
• Apply sound nursing judgment in management decisions.
• Provide primary and emergency care for both occupational and non-occupational injuries.
• Administer over-the-counter and prescription medications as prescribed.
• Collaborate with the nursing team to develop comprehensive Plans of Care.
• Guide ancillary personnel and uphold professional nursing standards.
