Environmental Specialist – Technical Services & Customer Support (Office-Based)

Monday–Friday | Full-Time | No Weekends

This is a professional, office-based position focused on technical services and customer support in hazardous waste management and regulatory compliance.

About the Role

We’re seeking a knowledgeable and customer-focused Environmental Specialist to join our Technical Services team . This role is centered on waste profiling and providing technical guidance for the safe and compliant disposal of hazardous materials. You’ll be the expert helping customers navigate complex environmental regulations and disposal strategies.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and manage waste profiles to ensure safe handling and compliance with EPA , RCRA , DOT , and internal safety policies.
• Maintain and update waste stream data in our profiling portal.
• Collaborate with sales teams to answer technical questions and recommend disposal solutions.
• Provide regulatory and compliance guidance to internal and external customers.
• Ensure pricing accuracy and margin control through technical approvals.
• Review Safety Data Sheets (SDS) , analytical data, and chemical literature to classify waste properly.
• Manage recertifications and evaluate changes in technology and cost.
