Job Summary (List Format) for Robot Programmer A

• Analyze and interpret test data to resolve design-related problems.
• Assemble electrical / electronic systems and prototypes using engineering data and electrical principles.
• Build calibrate troubleshoot maintain and repair electrical instruments or testing equipment.
• Collaborate with engineers and other personnel to identify and solve development problems.
• Modify electrical prototypes assemblies and systems to correct functional issues.
• Plan methods and sequences for developing and testing experimental electrical / electronic equipment.
• Set up and operate test equipment to evaluate performance of parts assemblies or systems under simulated conditions.
• Conduct quality control and assurance inspections reporting findings and recommendations.
• Draw or modify diagrams and write engineering specifications for experimental electronics units.
• Evaluate engineering proposals and drawings for sound practice and safety / design compliance recommending approvals.
• Install and maintain electrical control systems and solid state equipment.
• Perform supervisory tasks such as assigning work approving leave and completing evaluations.
• Plan schedule and monitor work of support personnel.
• Prepare project cost and work-time estimates.
• Provide technical assistance and resolve electrical or engineering problems during all project phases.
• Review and revise existing electrical engineering criteria to maintain up-to-date standards.
• Prepare and coordinate contracts and modifications to contract specifications throughout construction process.
