Distribution Center Clerk

With moderate supervision, stock and ship frames, lenses, or other product orders to support operations.

Pull frames, parts, and / or related materials in support of daily invoice orders and new consignment sets

Ship daily orders utilizing regular mail, overnight, and ground delivery service according to department standards

Support operations functions by stocking frames, lenses, and daily shipping supplies

Participate in physical inventories of products when assigned

Assist in the receiving area by unpacking, staging, and counting orders

Clean and assemble frames, lenses, and other supplies according to department guidelines

For Altair and Marchon LOBs : Support return / refurbishing operations by processing removal and credit paperwork, which may include opening mail and sorting returns by frame model

Support consignment program changes and invoice orders by assisting in the preparation of frames for shipment, including lab order consolidation

Coordinate within the frame refurbishing area to provide added efficiency by preparing frames and components for the refurbishing team

Job Specifications

Typically has the following skills or abilities :

Ability to read and write at a level necessary to accomplish the above tasks

Approximately one year of distribution / warehouse experience

Ability to lift 40 pounds

Ability to walk or stand 90% of the day

Working Conditions

The working environment is generally favorable, lighting and temperature are adequate, and there are no hazardous or unpleasant conditions caused by noise, dust, etc.

Compensation range for the role is listed below. Applicable salary ranges may differ across markets. Actual pay will be determined based on experience and other job-related factors permitted by law. Salary Ranges : $15.75 - $18.38
