A large hospital is seeking a Vascular / Interventional Radiologist for locum tenens coverage.

About the Clinician's Workday

This position runs Monday through Friday from 8 : 00 a.m. to 5 : 00 p.m., with weekend call required and weekday call optional. The radiologist will spend 2-3 hours performing interventional radiology procedures, then focus on reading emergency department studies at a busy Level II trauma center with a high volume of ER cases.

Additional Job Details

  • Case Load / PPD :   80 studies plus the small procedure, which usually takes up 2-3 hours per day
  • Support Staff :   NPs doing paras and Thoras
  • Patient Population :   Adults
  • Call Ratio / Schedule :   Weekend 24 hour call, open to week call
  • Location Type :   On-Site
  • Government :   No
  • Procedures :   GI stuff, trauma embolization, LIR, Biopsies
  • Equipment / PACS System :   Change Healthcare
