Knoxville Rehabilitation Hospital is a state-of-the-art, 57-bed inpatient acute rehabilitation hospital dedicated to the treatment and recovery of individuals who have experienced the debilitating effects of a severe injury or illness. Our rehabilitation programs provide ongoing care and specialized treatment to patients throughout their recovery journey. We are accredited by The Joint Commission and CARF-accredited for our Stroke Specialty program.

Summary : The Staff Accountant is responsible for supporting financial operations including accounts payable, account reconciliations, journal entries, and revenue cycle optimization. This role ensures timely and accurate financial reporting and analysis while contributing to cross-functional collaboration.

Essential Functions :

• Requires ability to manage deadlines and work across departments with minimal supervision.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills are essential for success in this role.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities :

Education : Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related field required

Experience : Experience working collaboratively across departments or organization, preferred

Skills : Proficient with Microsoft, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and internet browsers. Demonstrated excellence in previous accounting roles.
