[job_card.job_description]Receiving, organizing, tracking, and logging the checks the department received from Edward Jones's accounts payable department for a large number of tax jurisdictions. Reaching out to Edward Jones's accounts payable department to determine the status of checks that have not yet been received but need to be mailed. Final review of tax returns and checks to ensure the address is correct, all documents are complete, signed, and accounted for e.g., no missing pages, signatures, etc. and the correct check is included with the filing. Mailing the tax returns.
12 month contract, onsite, Manchester / 270 location, pays $34 / hr or $67k with PTO.
Previous experience with tax filings in corporate or public accounting is a plus, but the leader would be open to individuals who have comparable experience, such as an accounts payable clerk or a legal assistant.
