Position : RN-ER-Emergency Department (Travel / Contract)

Responsibilities

Provide high-quality emergency care to patients in the ER.

Participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities.

Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Monitor and evaluate patient progress and adjust care plans as needed.

Stay updated on the latest emergency care practices and technologies.

Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient assessments and treatments.

Adhere to safety protocols and infection control measures in the ER.

Utilize data and metrics to assess and improve patient care effectiveness.

Engage in performance evaluations and set personal growth goals.

Communicate effectively with patients and their families regarding care plans.

Assist in training and mentoring new nursing staff in the ER.

Participate in quality improvement initiatives within the emergency department.

Experience / Qualifications

Current RN license in Hawaii with emergency care certification.

Commitment to ongoing professional development and training.

Experience in an emergency department or critical care setting preferred.

Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

Strong communication skills for patient and family interactions.

Familiarity with quality improvement initiatives in healthcare.

Understanding of safety protocols and infection control measures.

Proficiency in using electronic health record systems for documentation.

Willingness to mentor and assist new nursing staff.

Strong analytical skills to assess patient care effectiveness.
