Security Officer - Retail Mall Patrol Specialist

As a Security Officer - Retail Mall Patrol Specialist in Sun Valley, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail / Malls, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol retail locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintain a welcoming atmosphere for customers and staff. You will conduct regular patrols, remain highly visible, and provide outstanding customer service. Pay Rate : $18.00 / Hour

  • Mon 04 : 30 PM - 01 : 00 AM
  • Tue 04 : 30 PM - 01 : 00 AM
  • Sat 04 : 30 PM - 01 : 00 AM
  • Sun 04 : 30 PM - 01 : 00 AM

    • What You'll Do :

  • Provide exceptional customer service by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the retail location.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing de-escalation techniques when appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the store and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
  • Observe and report any suspicious behavior, hazards, or incidents to Allied Universal management and / or local authorities as required.
  • Assist store personnel and visitors by providing information and guidance as needed.
  • Participate in emergency response activities according to site protocols, including assisting with evacuations and / or medical incidents.
  • Document all incidents and activities in accordance with Allied Universal and client requirements.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • A guard card or license is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
