Part time physician needed at school based wellness clinic located at a local no cost education and vocational training center that helps adolescents and young adults improve the quality of their lives through career technical and academic training. The hours at the wellness clinic fall between 8 : 00 am and 5 : 00 pm, Monday-Friday. Flexible scheduling. Excellent hourly contract compensation. Professional liability insurance provided.

• Job Description :
• Here is a list of some of the standard primary and acute care managed at the clinic;
• hypertension, diabetes, ADHD, GERD, UTIs, URIs, STDs, sprains, allergies, wellness exams, sick visits and school physicals.
• Collaboration with Mid-Levels

Collaboration with center's medical staff, wellness staff and substance abuse specialists as necessary.

• Role Description

This is a contract role for a Locums Physician with The Locums Company, LLC in Excelsior Springs, MO. The Locums Physician will work at the school wellness clinic and provide physical exams and minor acute care to student patients (ages 16-24) in accordance with their medical specialty and expertise. We offer excellent compensation, and professional liability insurance.

• Job Requirement :
• Active and unrestricted state medical license in Missouri state
• Experience in providing medical care to adolescent patients, including performing medical procedures and prescribing medications
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Willingness to work 18 hours per week (Monday - Wednesday)
• Prior experience as a locums physician is a plus
• Valid Federal DEA license
