Description

Duties And Responsibilities :

  • Ensure safety is the main focus while also making sure KPIs are met
  • Monitor the daily inbound / outbound schedule and achieve 100% LRTC that is in your shift control
  • Manage the daily work load and labor hours
  • Complete all shift reports accurately
  • Ensure the distribution center and our mill areas are kept clean and "tour ready"
  • Keep our inventory accuracy at 99% or higher
  • Complete accident investigations, reporting, and retraining
  • Interact and respond appropriately and courteously with our customer and our employees
  • Conduct warehouse audits and safety observations
  • Complete all coaching, performance evaluations and discipline write-up in a timely manner
  • Strong training skills and patience
  • Other assignments / projects as needed to ensure our customer needs are met
  • Mentor and coach Production and Dock Leads.

Required Knowledge, Skills And Abilities :

  • Ability to make decisions and stay calm under pressure
  • Ability to build and maintain a cohesive team
  • Proficient reading and writing skills
  • Ability to communicate in a clear and concise manner
  • Perform daily tasks in an organized manner
  • Ability to follow instructions and follow through on assigned tasks and responsibilities

    • Preferred Education And Experience :

  • Minimum 2 years previous leadership experience.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience working in warehouse environment.
