Position Description

Geronimo Power is seeking a highly motivated intern with a strong curiosity mindset. The selected candidate will collaborate closely with the broader finance team—including Financial Controls, Accounts Payable, IT, Project Finance, Investment and Portfolio Management, and Procurement—to support daily Treasury operations and contribute to various project initiatives. The ideal applicant will demonstrate initiative by asking insightful questions, proactively engaging in opportunities to learn about the overall business, and applying newly acquired knowledge to their responsibilities. Primary duties will emphasize process improvement, documentation, and interpreting data trends.

Duties

• Work with members of the company to issue relevant letters of credit to meet financial obligations or strategic importance.
• Assist in Treasury management report preparations. Including debt usage and covenants.
• Gain in-depth understanding of working capital, structure, and repayments.
• Assist in process improvement initiatives.
• Make entries into the accounting system to reflect received cash and intercompany accounts receivable.
• Provide ad-hoc support across departments.
