Current Interventional Radiology experience

Description :

General comments about the unit include holding spaces and staff structure.

When fully staffed, there are 5 RNs, 4 Techs, and 1 Patient Care Tech.

The day shift consists of 2 RNs, 3 Techs, and 1 Patient Care Tech.

Night shift is on call.

There are typical patient ratios that staff manage.

Equipment used includes Phillips Biplane.

The electronic medical record system is Meditech.

Most recruited skill sets include current IR experience.

Candidates with Neuro IR experience are preferred.

Typical procedures performed include PICC lines, C-lines, paracentesis, thoracentesis, embolizations, filter placements, and neuro biopsies.

The best personality fit for this role includes being a multi-tasker and easily adjustable to change.

Team players with a friendly demeanor are preferred.

Dress code consists of hospital-provided scrubs.

Weekends and on-call shifts are required after hours on weekdays and for 24 hours on weekends.
