Pathology Physician

This private pathology practice is seeking 2 dedicated & dynamic FT pathologists to join our growing hospital based private pathology practice located in Rome, GA. We are currently recruiting AP / CP board certified / eligible surgical pathologists for full-time positions. The candidates must be eligible for valid Alabama & Georgia medical licenses. Experienced pathologists & those currently in fellowship training are welcome to apply.

The practice is based in beautiful Rome, Georgia, conveniently located 65 miles north of Atlanta & 65 miles south of Chattanooga, TN; the gateway to the Appalachian Mountains. The medium-sized city is located near the mountains, combining a smaller town feel with drivability to larger cities. Rome boasts the largest college campus in the world at beautiful Berry College. Berry, open to the public, offers endless walking, biking, running, & horseback trails. Rome has three rivers for fishing, kayaking, paddle-boarding, etc. and a lovely historic downtown for strolling, dining, shopping, & wine tasting. The group is collegial & supportive. Call & caseload are shared equally. The cases are diverse with biopsies, surgical resections, frozen sections, bone marrows, clinical cases, & Gyn & Non-Gyn cytology (including immediate adequacy evaluations). The practice includes a private laboratory with onsite histology, cytology, & a molecular lab.
