The ideal candidate must have a high school diploma or equivalent and preferably at least one year of recent experience working in direct patient care. Must be able to work a shift to includes : 7pm - 7am and 3pm - 11pm including rotating weekends and holidays.
Medical Oncology G21 Unit : The unit is a 48-bed four-pod intermediate medical oncology unit providing care to adult and geriatric patients ranging in age from 18 - 95. Patients treated on G21 include those with colorectal, gastrointestinal, and lung cancer receiving complex chemotherapeutic and bio-immunotherapeutic regimens, management of treatment side effects and complications, and supportive care
Job Summary
Provides patient care services as assigned by a registered nurse.
Scope Impacts patient comfort and outcome of care.
Essential Job Functions Acts as member of a multidisciplinary team that identifies and addresses patient care needs.
Assists in completion of activities of daily living, mobilization, admit / discharge and obtaining vital signs.
Updates and retrieves patient information.
Ensures patient environment is maintained in a clean, safe and orderly manner.
Acts as part of an assigned care team.
Other duties as assigned.

Preferred : Experience in an acute care setting as a Nursing Assistant.
