What You'll Do As A Cost Accountant :

Partner with the Operations Finance Manager as a trusted support and backup.

Manage month-end close, inventory evaluation, and roll-forward analysis.

Maintain the inventory relief process for components and high-level parts.

Conduct quarterly physical inventories and cycle counts, resolving discrepancies.

Set up and update standard costs for manufactured goods.

Analyze cost data to uncover insights and recommend process improvements.

Build and refine cost structures for labor, admin, and shipping.

Provide actionable recommendations to leadership to maximize efficiency and profitability.

Support special projects and stay current on industry best practices.

Experience Preferred of the CostAccountant :

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.

2+ years of cost accounting experience (manufacturing preferred).

Proficiency in Excel, ERP systems, and financial reporting tools.

Strong knowledge of GAAP and cost accounting standards.

Analytical mindset with the ability to turn data into business decisions.

Tech-savvy, detail-oriented, and proactive.
