OBGYN

Join a busy group of 9 in private practice in a DC suburb, 12 who do OB and GYN, and 1 who does office GYN only. They are looking to hire additional physicians for their practice, which has offices in Montgomery and Frederick Counties in MD, and work out of 2 Hospitals, 1 with a level III nursery and 1 with a level II nursery. Both hospitals have all services in-house. The group call is split and the call for this position will be 1 : 6. It is a well-established 40-year-old practice that has integrated Midwifery into its practice and works with 8 CNMs who run the midwifery clinic and do some coverage for the practice. Montgomery and Frederick Counties are great places to raise a family and Montgomery County is close enough to DC to live there if you want to. Both hospitals have Robotics in-house and all subspecialties. The group does about 150-200 deliveries per month and 50 / 50 OB / GYN ratio They offer mentoring and doctors have a wide range of interests, ages, and gender mixes. They have a good mix of patients as well – they do low to high-risk OB and have all equipment in the office and EMR. There is a lot of flexibility here for potential hires; they will consider FT, ¾ time, PT, or even less than PT.
