Axios Professional Recruitment is partnered with a well-established local law firm that is actively seeking an Associate Attorney to join their growing team. This role is ideal for a highly professional, self-motivated attorney with strong insurance defense experience and a desire to grow into a long-term role with partnership potential.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with firm partners on briefs, discovery, and court appearances
- Draft pleadings, motions, and deposition materials
- Appear in court for hearings as needed
- Progressively manage a full caseload of approximately 20–30 matters
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of insurance defense experience
- Active law license in Michigan and/or Indiana
- Ability to travel within Michigan for hearings on an as-needed basis
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple cases effectively
