Position OverviewCode 4 Private Security is seeking a dedicated, highly organized Operations Manager to oversee day-to-day field operations in the San Jose region. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supervising security personnel, maintaining strong client relationships, ensuring high service standards, and supporting the successful operation of all assigned accounts. This role requires a hands-on leader who can problem-solve quickly, communicate effectively, and ensure all client sites are fully staffed and operating at peak performance.
Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients.
Maintain strong, professional communication to ensure client needs and expectations are met.
Address client concerns promptly and implement corrective actions when necessary.
Supervise, mentor, and support security officers at multiple locations.
Conduct performance evaluations, coaching, corrective actions, and follow-up training.
Promote professionalism, accountability, and Code 4 service standards.
Oversee and manage scheduling for all assigned accounts to ensure full coverage.
Adjust schedules and mobilize staff as needed during call-offs, emergencies, or staffing shortages.
Cover shifts personally when necessary to ensure uninterrupted service.
Conduct regular site inspections to ensure officers are performing duties properly and sites meet client expectations.
Verify compliance with company policies, post orders, and safety protocols.
Document and report site conditions and operational issues.
Assist with planning, launching, and stabilizing new client accounts.
Ensure proper staffing, post order development, equipment setup, and officer orientation.
Provide ongoing support to help new accounts transition smoothly.
Respond to incidents, emergencies, or client requests as needed.
Assist with hiring, onboarding, and training processes.
Ensure accurate documentation, reporting, and operational communication.
2 years of experience in operations, supervision, or management (security industry experience strongly preferred).
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle shifting priorities.
Valid California Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
Ability to work flexible hours, including nights or weekends when necessary.
Experience in the private security field.
Military background or similar disciplined leadership experience.
Knowledge of scheduling systems and basic administrative software.
BSIS Guard Card (or ability to obtain one).
Must be able to stand, walk, or drive for extended periods.
Ability to conduct physical site inspections, including stairs and outdoor environments.
