Business Development Coordinator
Reporting to the Senior Director of Business Development and Apple Podcasts, the Business Development Coordinator will have a focus on administrative functions to support the Senior Director and Director of Content Business Development in organizing external and cross-functional meetings, conference calls and travel and calendar management. In addition, this person will support the team in production of clear and consistent presentations of the highest quality.
Deep involvement with the administrative needs for the Senior Director and one Director. Organize all external, internal and cross-functional meetings. Responsible for booking meetings, conference room coordination, AV / VC setup, catering and distributing pertinent meeting logistics / document information. Manage all facility related requests, working cross functionally with the Facilities team and building representatives in multiple locations. Organize cross-functional summits and division off-sites. Oversee presentation creation as needed, and step in to polish team presentations to ensure correct formatting and adherence to Apple style guidelines and standards. Oversee new employee onboarding and obtaining all necessary equipment to support new hires. Strategic management of calendar and scheduling for Senior Director and one Director. Plan and book all travel itineraries for the Senior Director and Director, and efficient processing of expense reports. Take on additional projects to support other members of the team. An enthusiastic approach to personal skill development and professional growth by reading industry blogs, attending industry networking events and other career enhancements. Remain up to date with current events and announcements in the world of digital content.
Minimum of 2 years of executive administrative support and 2 years business development experience; both in the Entertainment industry. Experience with heavy calendar management and travel planning at the executive level in multiple time zones; while planning, managing, and executing projects and events. Experience supporting executive level staff (daily schedules, travel, expenses, task management, facilities, conferencing, purchasing and day to day operations of their team). Deep experience building innovative decks in Keynote and creating presentations for senior executives. Excellent organization skills, acute attention to detail, ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast paced and time sensitive environment. Direct experience handling sensitive and confidential information with integrity and discretion. Excel at working with complex and different personalities diplomatically. Proven ability to anticipate change and react efficiently and expeditiously. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Superior organizational, logistics and time management skills. Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with a variety of internal and external contacts. Deep understanding of Mac OS applications. Eager and willing to take on new challenges. Bachelors degree required. Ability to be onsite; this role is an in-person, onsite position. Travel may be necessary from time to time, both domestic & international.
At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $38.32 and $57.56 / hr, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
