[job_card.job_description]J.D. from an accredited law school and licensed to practice in Texas Good standing with Texas Bar Minimum 3 years of family law experience preferred (clerkships and internships considered) Must have courtroom experience, including temporary hearings, motion practice, and trials, with a demonstrated ability to advocate effectively and achieve favorable outcomes. We are seeking a talented, driven Associate Attorney with a passion for family law to join our growing team.
P.D.E - Pay Depends on Experience
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a caseload of family law matters from initial consultation through resolution
- Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, discovery, motions, and legal briefs
- Attend hearings, mediations, depositions, and trials as needed
- Client Counseling : Help clients navigate the emotional and legal complexities of family law with empathy and clarity
- Settlement Negotiations : Work to resolve disputes amicably and efficiently, minimizing prolonged litigation
- Maintain regular client communication and provide high-level service
- Collaborate with paralegals, legal assistants, and support staff
- Work closely with senior attorneys and partners to develop legal strategies
- Stay informed on developments in Texas family law and related legal trends
