Video Production Director, Shoots & Editor in Boston

Job Title : Video Production : Shooting & Editing Directors + Creators : Boston Web Group is seeking a full-time Videographer to join the Online Communications & Design team and be part of a thoughtful and energetic organization. The ideal candidate is passionate at storytelling, video production and editing, photography , and is able to manage multiple video / photo projects at once with competing deadlines. You should have equipment that you're comfortable with, although you can use ours. You should have some work that shows your scope of acumen, including storyboarding, shooting, directing, editing, and post-production executive choices that you've made to tell the story.

Reporting to the Senior Multimedia Producer, the Videographer will be responsible for producing and editing video content that showcases and strengthens the client's brand and reputation locally, nationally, and globally.

Responsibilities

Pitch, storyboard, script, coordinate, produce, film, and edit video projects.

• Meet with stakeholders to establish project goals;
• Coordinate filming with subjects, providing direction as needed during filming;
• Apply fundamentals of lighting, sound recording, and video production when filming;
• Edit videos, using original or archived video footage, to tell visually pleasing stories;

Prepare content for distribution, including media, transcripts, thumbnails, captions, etc

Photograph, sort, edit and deliver photos.

Qualifications

Animation skills a plus.
