Finance Operations Analyst III

About the Role
The Financial Operations Analyst III is a senior-level position supporting Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Accounting, and Contracts, with flexibility to adapt to business needs. This role leads reporting initiatives, mentors team members, and drives cross-functional projects while ensuring compliance with SOPs. Candidates should have 5+ years of accounting experience, strong communication skills, be able to work independently while aligning with team goals, maintain confidentiality, and demonstrate a growth-oriented mindset. Prefer candidates with Ramp, Expensify, and Sage Intacct. Responsibilities

• Assist with Reporting: Support preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and dashboards.
• Financial Controls & Compliance: Review payment requests, assist with vendor setup, and ensure adherence to internal control policies.
• Provide Operational Backup: Step in for accounts payable, receivable, and payroll during peak periods or absences.
• Maintain SOPs & Checklists: Assist in documenting and updating finance-related SOPs; develop checklists for all functional areas.
• Track Metrics & Performance: Assist in creating metrics, dashboards, and performance reporting for finance operations.
• Support Projects & Audits: Help with special projects, prepare audit documentation, and respond to data reporting requests. Assist in implementing and supporting AR automation tools and systems.
• Collaborate Across Teams: Work with accounting, HR, and operations to ensure accuracy and alignment.

Other Duties:

• Perform additional accounting or finance-related tasks as needed to support evolving business requirements.

Position Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance preferred.
• 5+ years of progressive finance experience; cash basis accounting experience strongly desired.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, internal controls, and compliance standards.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and accounting systems (Expensify, Ramp, Sage Intacct strongly preferred).
• Familiarity with workflow/project tracking tools (e.g., AirTable) is a plus.
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

Work Week:
This position is full-time, Monday to Friday, during regular business hours. The hours of operation for TSG Support Services are consistent with the businesses we support—generally 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM—with flexibility within these hours to accommodate what works best for you. This is a full-time, in-person role. Required work through the year-end close annually. You will work in the office, and TSG Support Services will provide parking for you in a nearby parking garage.

Compensation & Benefits [Salary Range $70,000 – $85,000]
