Production Worker / Warehouse Worker / Assembler / Manufacturing

Title : Assembler – 1st Shift Location : Huntsville, AL 35811 Duration : Temp to hire / Full time Pay rate : $17 / hr. Hours : 4am - 2 : 30 pm - Monday thru Thursday 10 HOUR SHIFTS- Overtime Friday POSITION OVERVEW & PURPOSE : The Assembler is responsible for performing a variety of routine tasks to support assembly and production of metal products. The Assembler may work in a variety of workstations including but not limited to assembly line / operator, packing, glue machine operator, poly handler / operator, channel forming installer, labeler, and ring / channel welder. This is a mechanical position under the supervision of the Production Supervisor. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :

• Perform various assembly or sub-assembly operations as assigned by the Leadership Team.
• Works on assembly line where tasks and job duties may vary (see above workstations).
• Follow and build job orders according to customer specifications on the daily travelers.
• May require retrieval of door parts necessary for completion of finished product.
• Understand and identify all components that comprise the finished product as described.
• Report production and quality data as dictated in daily travelers to supervisor.
• Always maintain an organized work environment, may require inspection by the Leadership Team.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Leadership Team to support company goals.
• Based on proficiency may be required to train on Assembly workstations. PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT :
• Operate simple hand or power tools to modify required materials.
• Handle materials such as metal, poly, glue, etc.
• Must be able to lift to 75 pounds repetitively.
• Must be able to push and / or pull carts up to 75 pounds.
• Must use and be able to work with required PPE. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS :
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
• Previous manufacturing experience preferred.
• Depending on experience could be required to shadow one or more workstations above. NO DRUG SCREENING BACKGROUND SCREENING REQUIRED STEEL TOE BOOTS REQUIRED
