As a Quality Claim Advisor at TVH, you’ll be the key point of contact for resolving quality issues related to returned parts. This role is ideal for someone with mechanical aptitude, problem-solving skills, and experience in small machinery or forklift repair. You'll analyze claims, inspect parts, work with internal teams to drive improvements, and provide technical feedback to support customer satisfaction.
YOUR ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Investigate and process quality claims submitted by Customer Service and suppliersPerform root-cause analysis to determine if issues stem from part defects, installation errors, or other factorsInspect returned parts and determine disposition (usable, defective, requires further inspection)Issue stock alerts and flag defective products for incoming inspectionCommunicate technical decisions on claim acceptance/refusal to sales and customer service teamsWork closely with product buyers to suggest and implement part improvementsProvide guidance on returns where the condition of the part is unclearCollaborate with Advanced Quality Claim Advisors for knowledge sharing and best practicesUse basic measuring tools and document findings in internal systemHOW TO SUCCEED
3–5 years of experience in quality inspection, small machinery repair, or forklift-related roles – RequiredStrong understanding of forklift/small equipment parts and their typical failure pointsAbility to communicate clearly via phone and email with internal stakeholdersSolid computer skills and comfort working in multiple systemsSelf-starter with strong attention to detail and problem-solving skillsPositive attitude, and an ability to work independently or as part of a teamBENEFITS

You must be able to perform the essential functions of the role, with or without reasonable accommodation. This role requires frequent standing and walking, repetitive motion, and use of hands and arms for reaching, grasping, lifting, pushing, and pulling from floor to overhead. Regular bending, stooping, kneeling, and crouching are required; occasional sitting, climbing, or balancing may occur.
You must be able to lift and/or move up to 15 pounds regularly, up to 40 pounds frequently, and over 50 pounds occasionally. Team lifting or material handling equipment is required for items over 50 pounds.
