divh2Management Support / h2pYou will support the N60 Division Manager in management of SSDS / CARRIERS / PCMS procurement and contract requirements planning and budgeting for technical support, and review and approval of technical data. / ppYou will support the Costumer Advocate in planning, directing, implementing and executing technical programs, policies and management actions for the design, test, development, acquisition, and in-service engineering of division programs. / ppYou will translating fleet requirements into technical requirements with adequate impact statements to secure proper level of funding. / ppYou will coordinate and oversee project execution across departments, including monitoring quality of appropriate product deliverables, and making decisions on technical and fiscal issues presented by technical codes. / ppYou will plan, implement, and evaluate technical contracting activities for surveillance oversight, quality, cost, schedule, performance, test, and acceptance. / ppYou will apply risk management methodologies to proactively identify, assess, mitigate, and monitor technical risks throughout the acquisition life cycle. / ppYou will provide technical expertise and leadership during the execution of ship integration, integrated logistics and in-service engineering tasking, and perform financial management and planning. / ppYou will provide project management such as technical review coordination, financial planning, and development of Task Planning Sheets (TPS), Statements of Work (SOWs), and WAAP Packages for SSDS, CARRIERS, and PCMS programs. / ppMust be a US Citizen. / ppMust be determined suitable for federal employment. / ppMust participate in the direct deposit pay program. / ppNew employees to the Department of the Navy will be required to successfully pass the E-Verify employment verification check. / ppGenerally, current federal employees applying for GS jobs must serve at least one year at the next lower grade level. / ppWithin the Department of Defense (DoD), the appointment of retired military members within 180 days immediately following retirement date to a civilian position is subject to the provisions of 5 United States Code 3326. / ppMales born after 12-31-59 must be registered for Selective Service. / ppYou will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and / or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. / ppThis position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes. / ppThis position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time. / ppYour resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower pay band NT-04 (GS-11 / 12 equivalent) in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector assisting in the coordination of project activities, monitoring project milestones and budgets, and supporting the acquisition life cycle by tracking deliverables and project documentation to ensure they meet established requirements and quality standards. / ppThis job does not have an education qualification requirement. / p / div
