Job Description

McWane Ductile- Utah is a world class manufacturer of ductile iron pipes. McWane Ductile- Utah was built in 1926 located in Provo, Utah. The company is currently seeking candidates for Health And Safety Trainer. The Safety And Training Coordinator is a management support position within the Health And Safety Department, reporting to the Health And Safety Manager. This position supports the operation of a foundry.

Applicants interested are expected to know the principles, values and behaviors of the McWane Compass.

Responsibilities Include :

• Implements and administers the health and safety training program.
• Develops and maintains training content, testing and materials needed to comply with company policies / procedures and regulatory standards.
• Develops and maintains a training schedule for all employees.
• Evaluates effectiveness of health and safety training and identifies and implements improvements as needed.
• Implements and administers the health and safety orientation program for new employees and contractors.
• Maintains all training documentation.
• Monitors and supports health and safety training requirements to ensure completion.
• Conducts regular facility audits to ensure compliance with company training requirements, policies / products, and regulatory standards.
• Provides direction and leadership for the facility in PPE and JSA management.
• Manages corporate training reporting requirements.
• All additional environmental duties as needed, as directed by the Manager.
