About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated Clinical Research Participant Recruiter to support Alzheimer’s disease clinical trials. This role focuses on identifying, engaging, and pre-screening potential participants and caregivers, ensuring they meet study criteria and understand the expectations of research participation. You will work directly with study coordinators, caregivers, patient communities, and referral partners to help advance research that aims to improve detection, treatment, and quality of life for individuals affected by Alzheimer’s disease.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct outreach to potential participants and caregivers through phone, email, SMS, digital platforms, community groups, memory-care networks, and referral sources.
- Explain study purpose, procedures, risks, benefits, and eligibility requirements in a clear, compassionate manner.
- Complete initial pre-screening questionnaires and collect relevant demographic and medical history information.
- Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant documentation within the study’s recruitment database or CRM system.
- Coordinate the scheduling of screening visits, cognitive assessments, or follow-up calls with clinical site staff.
- Build and sustain strong relationships with caregivers, memory clinics, patient advocacy groups, senior centers, and Alzheimer’s organizations.
- Follow Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines, HIPAA, and all regulatory standards.
- Track recruitment progress and provide weekly enrollment reports to study leadership.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to optimize outreach campaigns targeted toward Alzheimer’s communities.
- Provide empathetic support and clear communication to families navigating cognitive decline.
Required Qualifications
Experience recruiting participants for clinical trials, healthcare programs, or research cohorts—preferably in neurology, geriatrics, or cognitive disorders.Strong understanding of Alzheimer’s disease, mild cognitive impairment (MCI), dementia progression, and caregiver dynamics.Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate complex medical information into patient-friendly language.Comfortable conducting outreach and high-volume callsAbility to work with confidential information while maintaining strict privacy standards.Organized and detail-oriented with strong follow-through.Proficiency with CRM systems, EDC platforms, or recruitment databases.Preferred Qualifications
Certification in Clinical Research (e.g., CCRC, CCRP) or equivalent research training.Prior experience working with older adults, caregivers, memory clinics, or Alzheimer’s support organizations.Bilingual or multilingual communication skills.Familiarity with digital advertising, patient registries, or community-based recruitment strategies.Attributes for Success
