Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This position offers an opportunity to support young learners with autism in an elementary school setting, focusing on K-2 students with moderate to severe needs.

Provide specialized instruction to a caseload of 7-8 students with autism, primarily in grades 1 and 2Work collaboratively with one lead teacher and two teaching assistantsSupport both verbal and nonverbal students, most of whom are potty trainedCreate and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to the needs of each childMaintain a positive, inclusive classroom environmentQualifications :
Early Childhood (EC) license or Birth to Kindergarten credential is requiredExperience and confidence working with students with moderate to severe autismAbility to effectively collaborate with a multidisciplinary teamBenefits :
