Primary Duty :

Position promotes and governs a safe workingenvironment; supports and enforces company policy and mentors / coachesemployees oneveryaspect of production safety qualitydelivery responsible forensuring andmaintainingall manufacturing standards ensuring work schedules areaccomplishedandmanpoweris scheduled primary area of responsibility includesAssembly of finished goods (fleecing accessories quality inspection packaging).The positionis responsible forthe proper packaging of materials into the correct crates developing processes toimprove uponour current work practices. This position should train and lead the workforce in the assembly base shift for this position is Day Shift.

Working Responsibilities :

Conductsshiftmeetings with staff tocover safety quality and to providedirection and goalsfor daily activities reviewing the prior days results.

Ensuressafety standards are followed and communicated to direct reports. Followsall Company and OSHA Safety Policies.

Completes proper paperwork for accidents and notifiesEHS. Reports near misses.

Communicates with Plant Coordinator or Plant Manager to ensure all legal employment standards are followed and to address any employee relations issues.

Attendsandparticipatesin all required company training programs.

Conforms to all company policies and procedures.

Maintainsa high levelof customer focus in producing quality products and services that do not sacrifice the safety of others oneself nor the environment.

Commits to and follows the facility Mission Vision and Values that support the AWI Operating Principles as an individual and team.

Addresses staffing needs schedulesmanpowerandassigns work to others.

Trains employees on jobs

Works with procurement to schedule and address material issues.

Performs routine and non-routine repetitive production and / or service duties toinclude : operation of specialty machinery setup of complex tooling and equipment completion of reports and logs follow-up on work schedules

Interprets process sheets for workers

Ensures the plant equipment is clean and organizedand in good workingcondition.

Works with Quality departments to solve issues on the that the standards for quality outputsafetyetc. are adhered to and improved upon.

Keepsaccuraterecords of production waste quality checks undertaken.

Must be willing and able to work splitshiftand overtime asrequired.

Team LeadResponsibilities : Direct the work activities of6-8employees

Education and Experience :

Experience in leading or managing people and in addressingdifficult situations

Mustpossessexcellent problem-solving skills

Must not have current discipline on record at written warning level or higher

Must have 4 or less absence occurrences under the attendance program
