Location : Salem, OR 97301 (Oregon healthcare jobs) / n

Facility Setting : General ICU / PCU division (Med / Surg ICU) / n

Assignment Length : 13-week travel nursing contract / n

Start Date : January 5, 2026 or later / n

Shift : 12-hour nights (7 : 00 PM – 7 : 30 AM), 3 shifts / week / n

Weekly Hours : 36 hours / n

Estimated Weekly Salary : $1720–$1840 / n

Patient Ratios : 1 : 2 or 1 : 1 / n

Floating : Frequent between ICU / PCU units and to West Valley Hospital (affiliate location) / n

/ n / nICU Registered Nurse Qualifications / n

/ n

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Oregon RN license may be pending at submission) / n

Minimum 18 months of recent ICU experience in a hospital with 300+ beds / n

At least 2 years of ICU nursing experience required / n

Epic EMR experience required / n

Previous travel RN experience (no first-time travelers) / n

BLS and ACLS certifications required / n

Preferred : CCRN, CPI, TNCC certifications / n

Proficient in IV starts, telemetry, conscious sedation, ventilator management, and arterial line management / n

Experience with complex patient populations : sepsis, respiratory failure, traumatic brain injury, neurosurgical interventions, multi-system organ failure, stroke, GI bleeding, and multi-system trauma / n

/ n / nICU RN Responsibilities / n

/ n

Deliver high-quality, compassionate care to critically ill adult patients in a fast-paced ICU setting / n

Float between ICU / PCU units and to affiliate hospital as needed / n

Initiate and manage IVs, telemetry, ventilators, and advanced medical equipment / n

Administer medications, blood products, and sedation per protocols / n

Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and arterial blood gases / n

Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams including respiratory therapy, physical therapy, pharmacy, and rapid response / n

Accurately document patient care using Epic EMR / n

Participate in orientation and ongoing clinical education modules / n
