Summary

We are a small Montessori School in Fall City looking for an assistant teacher. This position can be full time or part time and includes closing shifts until 5 : 30pm.

The ideal candidate is looking for the opportunity to work in a positive, supportive work environment. We offer the opportunity for job advancement and scholarships towards earning a college degree.

The candidate must be able to communicate, listen and work well with others in a team environment. The candidate must believe in a quality educational program and in developing positive relationships with the children and their parents.

Duties

  • Assist in the implementation of activities and maintain a positive, calm environment.
  • Actively engage with children and support co-workers.
  • Help ensure smooth, daily transition between home and school.
  • Responsibilities will include daily cleaning.
  • Follow all center policies and state regulations.
  • Maintain personal professional development plan to ensure continuous quality improvement.

  • Must clear full background check
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Must currently be living in the United States

  • The following training will be required, but we will help you through the process :
  • Infant / child CPR and First Aid certification.
  • Food Handlers Permit
  • BBP / HIV training
  • STARS number
  • 30 hours of Childcare Basic Training
