Responsibilities

Are you a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse looking to make a real difference in the lives of young people? At PrairieCare, we are seeking dedicated Psychiatric / Mental Health RNs to provide exceptional care for our adolescent (ages 4-18) and young adult (ages 18-35) patients facing psychiatric and mental health challenges.

Shift : AM / PM

What You'll Do :

• Conduct impactful assessments and monitor daily functioning to guide patient care.
• Use your critical thinking skills to deliver safe, high-quality nursing care.
• Collaborate with a dynamic multidisciplinary team to enhance patient outcomes.
• Create a nurturing therapeutic environment while minimizing restraint and seclusion.
• Engage patients through planning and facilitating exciting nursing groups.
• Administer medications accurately and empower patients and families with education.
• Provide compassionate, culturally sensitive care while maintaining confidentiality.
• Skillfully intervene in crisis situations using effective de-escalation techniques.

Pay range for this position is $37.92 to $58.68 depending on education and experience.
