Schedule Details :

Nights

8 and 12-hour shifts

Every third weekend rotation

Holiday rotation

Sign-On Bonus : $15,000 for 3rd Shift

About Our Unit :

Be a part of our 24-bed Neurosurgical Unit, where we care for a diverse and complex patient population. Our team handles :

Post-operative patients from craniotomies and tumor resections

Cervical, thoracic, and lumbar spine surgeries

Hemorrhagic and ischemic stroke patients as part of our Comprehensive Stroke Program

A high volume of cervical and spinal surgery patients

What You'll Do :

Provide comprehensive, evidence-based patient care using the nursing process

Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for safe, compassionate care

Utilize clinical judgment and critical thinking to support optimal outcomes

Enhance positive patient experiences across the care continuum

Major Responsibilities Include :

Assessing patient needs and developing individualized care plans

Recognizing changes in patient condition and adjusting care plans as necessary

Implementing strategies to ensure patient safety and readiness to learn

Coordinating discharge plans with interdisciplinary teams

Participating in quality improvement initiatives

Maintaining effective communication and collaboration among healthcare team members

Applying ethical decision-making in patient care

Qualifications : Licensure :

Registered Nurse license in state of practice

Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification from the AHA

Education :

Completion of an accredited Nursing program

Experience :

Minimum of 1 year in clinical nursing preferred

Skills :

Proficient in providing holistic patient care

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Able to make critical decisions and act with flexibility

Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills

Physical Requirements :

Able to perform physical tasks such as lifting, pushing, and transferring patients

Exposure to chemical and hazardous materials, requiring protective gear

Must possess functional abilities in sight, hearing, and touch
