Essential Job Duties :

The Manager for the Stroke & Sepsis Programs will lead, direct and have accountability for assigned areas of Palmdale Regional Medical Center. The Program Manager has direct accountability for serving the Stroke & Sepsis programs with a focus on improving patient pathway to stroke & sepsis treatment. This position works closely with physician partners, facility leaders, and the patient care team to manage stroke & sepsis patients from door to discharge, providing education, ensuring the most appropriate discharge disposition, providing coordination of care, and providing follow up to Palmdale Regional patients for days post discharge. The program manager works assists with the business planning, marketing, and development for the program including integration and optimization of patient care. Facilitates daily program operations; demonstrates thorough understanding of financial system for budget management, facility policies and procedures, clinical information systems, and business / marketing program management. Role models facility’s mission, vision, and values; supports the learning of others; and, practices leader standard work. Collaborates with Clinical Leaders on program specific clinical processes in order to ensure efficiency. The Program Manager acts as mentor and coach to enable problem solving and develops smooth functioning teams with a focus on accountability, quality, and satisfaction. Other duties as assigned.
