Responsibilities:

• Removing calcium deposits/stains from teeth + SRPs + anesthetize patients as needed
• Polishing, fluoride treatments.
• Assisting in the diagnosis/treatment planning of dental caries, gum disease, and other oral conditions.
• Obtaining/reviewing/updating patient health histories.
• Demonstrate OHI and other important oral health techniques.
• Educate patients on the importance of oral health and its systemic associations as well as recommend/educate on treatments/procedures that may help them become healthier.
• Maintain strict compliance with State, Federal, and other regulations, (e.g., OSHA, WC, Dental Board, HIPAA, ADA, FEHA, DOL, HR policies and practices)

Qualifications:

Degree or certification for Hygiene from an accredited college or technical school; or equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to meet state licensure requirements. Commitment to continuing education for hygiene and dentistry.

Valid and current Registered Dental Hygienist license in accordance with applicable state licensure requirements.

Advanced degree (e.g., Masters) for Hygiene from an accredited college or technical school; or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.

Total Salary Package: ~$50+ per hour

The greater of:

1) Daily Guarantee: $30.00 - $40.00

OR

2) 30% of Collections (Includes x-rays, sealants, SRPs, prophies, fluoride, select products, etc)
