Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This opportunity is ideal for a dedicated professional skilled in special education, prepared to make a meaningful impact on high school students' academic and personal growth. Serving a caseload of 27-28 high school students, this full-time learning specialist position offers an engaging and rewarding environment to apply your OR Special Education credentials.

Key Location and Duration :

  • Based near Lake Oswego, OR
  • Full semester contract for the Spring semester

Core Responsibilities :

  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to meet the needs of each student
  • Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff to ensure effective learning strategies
  • Monitor student progress, adjust teaching methods, and maintain accurate records
  • Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student growth and independence

    • Desired Qualifications :

  • Valid Oregon Special Education teaching credentials
  • Experience managing high school special education caseloads
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to design adaptive instructional materials and strategies
