The Material Engineer will provide excellence and compliance support for materials engineering and asset integrity activities under the Excellence & Compliance Department. The role ensures the reliability and compliance of critical materials, corrosion monitoring, and QA / QC practices across operations.
2. Qualifications & Experience
Education :
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering , preferably Materials , Metallurgy , or Mechanical .
Experience :
Minimum of 10 years’ experience in materials engineering or QA / QC within the oil and gas industry .
Technical Knowledge :
Proficient in corrosion monitoring , failure analysis , material selection , and testing .
Standards & Systems :
Knowledge of Operational Excellence (OE) compliance , industry codes / standards , and inspection / testing methods .
Preferred Exposure :
Experience with root cause analysis (RCA) for material failures.
Cross-functional collaboration with inspection and maintenance teams .

Prepare detailed technical reports, specifications, and engineering recommendations.
Support the implementation of asset integrity improvement initiatives.
