American Traveler is seeking a travel Vascular Sonographer for a travel job in Lubbock, Texas.

Job Description\n

American Traveler is hiring a Vascular Ultrasound Technologist with at least one year of experience and current vascular certification for acute care assignments.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

  • Position is based in a short-term acute care hospital with a Level II trauma designation
  • Dedicated vascular ultrasound role with no floating between units required
  • Performs approximately 8 vascular studies per day
  • Day shift schedule, Monday through Friday, 6 : 00 AM to 2 : 30 PM
  • On-call and weekend coverage are required, as needed
  • Experience with transcranial doppler is preferred
  • Epic EMR is used and experience is required
  • Responsible for performing a variety of vascular ultrasound studies and related duties
  • Department dress code requires solid navy blue scrubs for licensed staff
  • All travelers are expected to float between sister facilities nearby if required
  • Must commit to working 3 out of the 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
  • Requested time off must be submitted up-front and may impact offer
  • Parking is free in designated employee and visitor lots
  • Returning staff policy requires a 3-month separation before being eligible to travel again with this client
  • Online learning modules must be completed prior to start and annually

  • Minimum of 1 year of recent vascular ultrasound experience
  • Vascular certification is required
  • Transcranial doppler experience preferred
  • Current state license required if applicable
  • Must be able to work on-call and weekends as needed
  • Must provide 2 supervisory references from the last 3 years
  • Epic EMR experience required
  • Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility for travel rate eligibility
  • Returning employees must wait at least 3 months before being eligible for rehire as a traveler
