COTA in Chattanooga, TN

A contract opportunity is available for an experienced Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to support student care in a school setting located in Chattanooga, TN. This position provides a valuable chance to utilize your expertise to help students enhance their functional skills and support their educational development.

Responsibilities include:

• Delivering occupational therapy services under the supervision of a licensed occupational therapist
• Collaborating with educators and school staff to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Assisting students in improving fine motor skills, coordination, sensory processing, and daily living activities
• Documenting student progress and maintaining accurate treatment records
• Participating in team meetings and multidisciplinary planning to ensure comprehensive care

Qualifications and desired experience:

• Current certification as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
