Job Description

Rang Healthcare is seeking a travel Registered Respiratory Therapist for a travel job in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

Job Description & Requirements

Job Summary :

  • Provides cardiopulmonary diagnostic and respiratory therapeutic support for patients in the Hospital and / or outpatients that require cardiopulmonary diagnostic testing, respiratory treatment, and / or ventilatory support.

    • Shift Details :

  • Varied shifts.
  • Weekends / Holidays required.
  • Floating required - may need to support PresNow (UC / ED) locations.
  • May fluctuate to fulfill department staffing needs.
  • On call, weekends, and holidays required.
  • Travelers are first to float within facility and to alternate locations within 20 miles of permanent assigned location.
  • Traveling pairs are NOT guaranteed same schedules or same shifts.
  • Position will float to other areas as needed.
  • This is a 13-week contract assignment.

    • Required Skills & Experience :

  • Must be a team player, flexible, and accustomed to fast-paced environment.
  • At least one 13 week previous travel assignment.
  • Two (2) years current experience required in specialty.

    • Required Education :

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Complete an accredited respiratory care education program from a school approved by the Commission on Accreditation for Respiratory Care (CoARC).

    • Required Certifications & Licensure :

  • New Mexico Respiratory Care Practitioner License.
  • BLS certification completed through American Heart Association, American Health and Safety, or American Red Cross .
  • ACLS certification completed through American Heart Association, American Health and Safety, or American Red Cross.
  • PALS certification completed through American Heart Association, American Health and Safety, or American Red Cross.
  • NRP certification .
