Job Summary

We are seeking a strategic and detail-oriented Accounting Manager to join our finance team as we strive for operational excellence. In this role, you'll oversee financial reporting, reconciliations, inventory / cost accounting, and accounts payable , while ensuring compliance with accounting standards and internal controls. You'll manage an off-site accounts payable staff member and collaborate cross-functionally to support financial goals in a fast-paced environment.

What you'll Do :

• Manage accounts payable, cost analysis support, and vendor invoice reviews for accuracy.
• Support the month-end close process , including preparing financial statements, schedules, and reconciliations.
• Assist with the preparation of budgets and cash forecasts .
• Assist in preparation and review of variance reports to help drive informed decision-making.
• Assist with strengthening internal controls and accounting policies to enhance financial integrity and efficiency.
• Assist with audits and tax filings , ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Manage all aspects of inventory accounting and cost accounting calculations and reporting.
• Manage and mentor accounts payable staff member and future accounting additions.
