The cost team delivers solutions to clients in the areas of conceptual estimating, budget development, cost planning, feasibility studies, value management, economic forecasting, milestone reports, pre- and post-contract auditing, change order review and reconciliation, BIM 5D cost modeling, LEED cost analysis, life cycle costing, and more. We encourage you to research us to learn more about our outstanding reputation within this service line. / ppWe are currently hiring for a Senior Program Cost Manager / Controller in the Syracuse, NY area. In this role, you will have the opportunity to grow your project controls and cost knowledge within all phases of a project, while gaining experience on a large-scale semi-conductor project. / ph3Essential Duties Responsibilities : / h3ulliCoordinate and provide support to Cost Managers and the clients facilities staff to establish and maintain data coding structures and project control tools. / liliInteract with client accounting and purchasing staff, coordinate client financial information with the system for all financial transactions to ensure reconciliation of program controls data for monthly reporting purposes. / liliGather and track quality data used for budgets, contracts, change orders, trends, and actual costs. / liliMaintain management reporting data to produce program controls reports. / liliEnsure regular and timely reporting of the projects financial progress to advise of any conditions that would affect timelines or costs. / liliReview documents filed by Cost Managers to ensure accurate and thorough document control. / liliReview, evaluate, and recommend changes to project documents as required by project needs. / liliRoutinely review pay applications, change orders and contracts for accuracy and alignment with budget and board approval. / liliMonitor contract compliance and report concerns to Project Manager. / liliOversee approvals from applicable government agencies are received and documented. / liliPerform QA / QC process. / liliReview change orders for completeness and conformance to company and client standards. / liliReview RFIs / Submittals for completeness before distribution to design team. / liliProvide basic cost scheduling and budget management. / liliOther duties as assigned. / liliAttendance at work during normal business hours. / li / ulh3Knowledge Skills Required : / h3ulliExperience with various project control tools and software. / liliExperience gathering and tracking quality data relating to budgets, contracts, change orders, trends and actual cost. / liliExperience with the QA / QC process. / liliUtilize effective written and oral communication skills. / liliUnderstand how your role contributes to the organizations goals. / liliDeliver quality work product by role modeling organizational core values. / liliHold self accountable to individual and team goals. / liliConsistently communicate and collaborate with team members and clients. / liliBuild relationships with peers, leaders, and clients. / liliProactively participate in self-development to continually enhance current skills and build new skills required to excel at current role and prepare for career progression. / liliAbility to communicate with various stakeholders, internal and external to the company. / liliDemonstrate an understanding of how project documentation impacts the project flow. / liliAbility to read blueprints. / liliAbility to multi-task, prioritize, and work efficiently. / liliDemonstrate sound judgement and logical decision making skills. / liliAbility to perform at high levels in a fast paced, ever-changing work environment. / liliRely on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. / li / ulh3Preferred Education and Experience : / h3ulliEducation : BS in Construction Management, Engineering, QS, Architecture, or related field / liliExperience : 7+ years in cost management, project controls, or related / liliExperience : Prior experience working on large scale semi-conductor, manufacturing, life sciences or data center projects is preferred. / liliExperience : Proficiency in SAP / Procore. / li / ulpThe salary range for this full-time role is $132,800.00-$185,933.36 per year. Ranges are determined based on the position, geography, client and industry experience and level, and represent a good faith effort to provide a fair and equitable salary. This range reflects base salary only, and not the total compensation package.
